During my first term on the Hamilton County Commission, I focused on making county government more transparent, responsible and effective. I brought my experience in business management to the commission with a simple goal: make sound decisions, protect taxpayer dollars and get things done.

We strengthened financial oversight by updating budget forms, improving the Audit Committee and completing training in budgeting and our responsibilities as commissioners. We also changed meeting times to better accommodate working residents and took steps to make commission meetings more accessible and reflective of our community.

I worked to manage growth responsibly by reducing development density in unincorporated Hamilton County and helped create a planning commission specifically for those areas. We also secured funding for road and highway improvements and supported targeted speed-limit reductions to improve public safety.

Beyond growth and infrastructure, I worked to maintain health coverage for retired county employees, establish a Veterans Circle to honor local veterans, and ensure commissioners were prepared to respond during emergencies.

I’m proud of the progress we made during my first term. These accomplishments reflect a practical approach to serving Hamilton County: listen to our communities, manage taxpayer dollars responsibly, and work together to get results.

I am honored to live and work in Hamilton County and, most of all, to have the opportunity to represent the people of District 10. Serving you is a responsibility I take seriously, and I’m grateful for the trust you have placed in me.
