Jeff Eversole for Hamilton County Commission
After four years of proven leadership on the Hamilton County Commission, I'm running for re-election to continue the progress we've made together.
With nearly four decades of experience in business management, including successfully operating and expanding Walmart stores across Southeast Tennessee, I am well-prepared for this role. Over the past four years, I've applied my business acumen to address the complex challenges facing our county, and the results speak for themselves.
We've demonstrated true financial stewardship by managing budgets that now approach a billion dollars while maintaining fiscal responsibility. Through planning, we've made strategic investments in our community's future rather than simply reacting to problems as they arise. And I've insisted on transparency and efficiency in every decision, ensuring taxpayers know how their money is being spent and that the government operates as effectively as any well-run business.
Over the past four years, I've proven to be the decisive leader our commission needed: someone willing to stand up for what is right for our communities when it matters most. Working collaboratively with fellow commissioners, we've streamlined government operations, made significant improvements to our schools, implemented responsible development plans, and tackled major infrastructure challenges head-on.
My wife, Denise, and I remain deeply committed to this district and county we love. Our daily involvement in community organizations and charitable initiatives continues to strengthen our connection to the people we serve. This isn't just a job for us; it's a calling to give back to a community that has given so much to our family.
Looking ahead to the next four years, my mission remains clear: to continue partnering with fellow commissioners and building on our progress. We'll continue to support our fire and law enforcement partners with the resources they need, develop our workforce to address current and future challenges, and maintain the principled, business-focused approach that has delivered real results.
I've demonstrated over the past four years that I work for you with complete transparency and availability. I hope to earn your vote again so that we can continue to move Hamilton County forward together.
